Ensure your patients receive the best care

In cooperation with experienced gynaecological oncologist Dr. Pavel Vlasák, we offer gynaecological oncology consultations for patients at increased risk of gynaecological cancer.

Who should undergo the examination:

• suspicious ultrasound findings – cystic formations on the ovaries, suspicious findings in the uterine lining, ‘bad’ cytology findings
• patients with an indication for invasive procedures (surgery) who request a consultation with a second specialist (‘second opinion’) prior to the procedure
• explanation of options and consultation on possible treatment methods for gynaecological oncology patients
• Preventive examinations for patients with breast cancer or reproductive organ cancer in the family (BRCA positive)

The examination will be provided by experienced certified gynecological oncologist, MUDr. Pavel VlasákHead of the Ultrasound Center at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital in Plzeň, member of the Comprehensive Gynecologic Oncology Center at the University Hospital in Plzeň, and physician involved in the operation of the outpatient clinic for hereditary diseases in oncology (ADO).

USG device: GE Voluson E 10 – the best ultrasound device. The examination consists of an ultrasound scan not only of the small pelvis, but in indicated cases also of the entire abdominal cavity (liver, kidneys, exclusion of ascites), evaluation of the findings, and consultation on further treatment.

Recommendation for surgical/conservative treatment.
Assessment of whether surgical treatment is necessary If necessary, comprehensive gynecological oncology care can be provided at the Gynecology Clinic of the University Hospital in Plzeň, where Dr. Pavel Vlasák continues to work full-time, or at another facility as agreed. This is a premium service that is not covered by health insurance.

The price of the examination is CZK 1,000.
